Renting pop-up tents in Mumbai

Mumbai weather does not give notice. A clear morning in September becomes a downpour by four, and every outdoor function between June and September is planned around that possibility.

Pop-up tents are the practical answer for the working parts of an event — the check-in desk, the caterer's plating station, the crew area, the vendor equipment that cannot get wet. They go up in minutes, they come down as fast, and they can be repositioned during the day if the sun moves or the wind changes. This isn't shamiana for a mandap; it's functional cover for the parts of the event that keep it running.

Best used for

  • Check-in and registration counters
  • Catering plating and service stations
  • Backstage and crew shelter
  • Vendor and equipment protection
  • Valet and arrival points
  • Bar and beverage stations at outdoor functions

How many do you need?

One per function area rather than one per event. A typical outdoor wedding takes three or four — registration, catering, crew, and one spare positioned where equipment sits. Send us your ground plan and we'll mark the positions.

What to check with the venue ?

Ground surface matters — grass and soil take pegs, hard standing and paving need weights instead. Tell us which you have. Also confirm whether the property permits anchoring at all, since some restrict pegging on maintained lawns. Wind exposure is worth flagging for coastal and terrace venues.

Booked alongside

Outdoor function packages typically pair tents with a portable generator for power, mist fans for cooling and traffic cones for vehicle routing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Walled or open — which should we take?

Open for catering and bar stations where staff need access from all sides.
Walled for crew areas, equipment storage and anywhere weather protection
matters more than access. We supply both.

Will it hold up in monsoon rain?

It's built for weather cover, and we anchor according to the ground surface
and the forecast. For sustained heavy conditions we'd discuss the setup with
you rather than just deliver.

How is it anchored on a paved surface?

Weights rather than pegs. Tell us the ground surface when you book so the
right anchoring comes with the delivery.

Can it be moved during the event?

Yes, that's part of why it's specified. Tell the crew at handover if you
expect to reposition it and they'll brief your team.

How long does setup take?

Minutes per unit once on site, which is why it works for tight load-in
windows.
