Sometimes the room you have is one room and the event needs two. A ballroom that's also a changing area, a lawn where the caterer's prep is visible from the seating, a lounge that needs a private corner for a family conversation.
The usual solution is a plain screen that looks like a plain screen. These are carved wooden panels, which means they divide the space without announcing that the space has been divided — a decorative object that happens to be doing a functional job.

How many do you need ?
Three to four panels create a usable enclosed corner. A full screening run — hiding a catering line, for instance — takes six or more depending on length. Panels are freestanding and fold, so they work in an L or a straight run.
What to check with the venue ?
Floor space and stability. On a windy terrace or lawn, freestanding panels need weighting or a sheltered position — tell us if the placement is exposed. Most indoor placements need nothing beyond clearance.
