Renting a clothing rack in Mumbai
Three days of functions means somewhere between six and twelve outfits per person, plus dupattas, plus everything the bridal party brought. Without a rack, all of it ends up on a bed — which is also where the makeup kit, the jewellery boxes and someone's laptop are.
A rack is unglamorous and it's the difference between a suite that functions and a suite that's chaos by lunchtime. It also protects the clothes: a lehenga hanging is a lehenga that isn't being creased by six people sitting around it.
Best used for
- Bridal suites across multi-day functions
- Styling rooms with scheduled wardrobe changes
- Backstage at sangeet and performance functions
- Groom's dressing rooms
- Photo shoots with multiple looks
- Corporate uniform and costume management
How many do you need?
One per person doing multiple changes. A bride across three days usually needs two — one for outfits worn, one for outfits to come. The bridal party shares one between two or three people.
What to check with the venue ?
Floor space, and the route in — racks arrive assembled and need a clear path through the door. Some suites are tight; tell us the room and we'll bring the size that fits.
