Renting a plain mirror in Mumbai

Not every mirror needs bulbs around it. A lit vanity mirror is a working tool for makeup; a plain mirror is a decorative object that also happens to be useful.

Which is what you want in the places a lit mirror would be wrong — leaning against a wall as part of a décor scheme, at the end of a hallway to open up a narrow space, behind a bar to double the light, or in a room where the lighting is already handled and you just need a surface to check an outfit in.

Best used for

  • Décor and venue dressing
  • Entrance and hallway placement, to open up a space
  • Behind bars and service counters
  • Guest touch-up corners and washroom vestibules
  • Styling areas where lighting is already set
  • Photo backdrops and styled vignettes

How many do you need?

Décor use is driven by the scheme rather than headcount — talk to your decorator. For functional use, one per touch-up point. Two placed opposite each other in a corridor creates depth, which is a common trick in tighter venues.

What to check with the venue

Placement and stability. A large mirror leaning against a wall needs a stable position away from guest traffic, and some properties require it to be secure rather than freestanding. Confirm with the banquet team and mention if it's going anywhere with high footfall.

Booked alongside

Décor setups combine these with partition panels for screening and structure. Styling areas pair them with a vanity mirror for the makeup station itself.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the difference between this and the vanity mirror?

This is unlit and decorative. The vanity
mirror
has perimeter bulbs and is a working makeup tool. Different jobs
entirely.

What size is it?

Tell us the placement and we'll confirm the sizes available for your dates.

Does it come with a frame?

Tell us the décor scheme when you book and we'll confirm the finishes we
can supply.

Is it stable enough for a busy area?

Freestanding needs a considered position away from traffic. For
high-footfall areas, tell us and we'll advise on securing it.

Can it go outdoors?

Under cover and out of direct sun, yes. Tell us the position and we'll
confirm.
