Renting a CO₂ gun in Mumbai
Everything else in the SFX catalogue is placed, aimed and fired by crew from a fixed position. The CO₂ gun is the exception - it's hand-held, and it goes to whoever is running the moment.
That changes what it's for. A DJ can hit the drop with it, a performer can aim it into the crowd, a host can fire it at the exact second rather than the second the operator guesses. A dense white plume, close range, pointed wherever the energy is.
Best used for
- DJ and sangeet drops, fired by the DJ
- Performer-led moments on stage
- After-party and dance floor peaks
- Baraat processions, fired from the truck or float
- Content and reel shoots needing a controllable burst
- Corporate hype moments
How many do you need?
One in the hands of the right person beats four on stands. Two for a stage with performers on both sides. For a dance floor peak, two guns working the crowd from opposite corners covers a large room.
What to check with the venue ?
CO₂ discharges cold and disperses quickly, so ventilation is rarely the issue — but confirm the property permits handheld effects, since some restrict anything not operated by contracted crew. Also check ceiling height: fired upward in a low room, the plume hits the ceiling and rolls back down rather than dissipating.
Booked alongside
Standard party-peak stack: CO₂ guns with LED smoke jets on stage and confetti for the beat after.
